As my health deteriorated, the Western Medicine was not my preferred option. REIKI, the wonderful energy healing modality used through out the world. Reiki is a Japanese healing art that was synthesized into being by Mikao Usui in the late 1800's in Japan. Most individuals practice the Usui Reiki, as well as I do.
The type of Reiki which I practice is not the traditional Reiki from Japan, it is rather the original reiki, called Fam Rei, directly from Tibet, which preceded the Japanese form. Currently I am the only Reiki Grand Master practicing this very potent original Reiki in Ottawa. There are less then thirty in the North America region at this time.

History of Reiki
There are different varieties of Reiki systems around the world. The most known Reiki system was developed by Mikao Usui which originates from Tibet. The Japanese Masters "Usui Reiki Ryoho Gakkay", in 1926 introduced a derivative Reiki system to the general public, known as Usui Reiki.
The Reiki Grandmaster Academy in Bulgaria made the original Fam Rei Reiki system available to the general public. Reiki degrees 1 to 3 are the Path of Reiki Disciple, who graduates as a Third Degree Master of the Usui Reiki. Reiki degrees 4 to 7 are the Path of the Master. The restoration of the ancient knowledge of Reiki degree 4 to 7 was started by Mikao Usui and was completed by Satya Nanyokari. Reiki degrees 8 to 9 are the Path of the Grandmaster, which involves highly advanced techniques, special symbols and blocking of negative genetic programs, restored and adapted by Sathya Eo'Than.
